Pacific Asian Counseling Services
PACS enriches the lives of children and families through counseling and caring. Since 1997 it has provided culturally sensitive, language specific services especially for immigrant and refugee API populations. Clients are low income adults and children with severe mental illness or behavioral issues including the homeless. The Long Beach office opened in 2000 and in 2019, it served 506 clients with 15,318 sessions with 36% API, 33% Hispanic, 24% African American and 7% white.
