The Little Lion Foundation
A popular belief about our shelter system is that those adorable, tiny kittens will be safe, taken care of and adopted out if taken to an animal shelter.. and unfortunately, that is not the case. In fact, most kittens under 8 weeks of age are euthanized upon intake or on the same day. The Little Lion Foundation is the very first rescue in Long Beach, California to point our main focus on these innocent, fragile beings.

LBSN's is dedicated to reducing unnecessary suffering of animals and limiting the overpopulation of animals in our city. Sparky and the Gang Animal Rescue
Sparky and the Gang is a not for profit charitable volunteer-based organization working to rescue dogs from local pounds, the streets and from unsuitable conditions -- placing them in safe, loving homes. We specialize in helping some of the most hopeless canine cases and given them extreme hope and ultimately success in forever homes. We are a foster-based organization based in Long Beach. All group members work on a volunteer basis and most have full-time jobs separate from this organization.
